I have been a PhD student in Vertebrate Paleontology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) since 2022, focusing on the origins of macronarian sauropod dinosaurs. Before starting my PhD, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). Subsequently, I moved to Germany to pursue a Master’s degree in Evolution, Ecology, and Systematics at LMU.

Research Interests

I am interested in the early evolution of macronarian sauropods. During my PhD, I am focused on describing a new species of macronarian from the Late Jurassic of Chubut, Argentina, and assessing its systematic affinities. Since the analysis of phylogenetic datasets allows us to infer evolutionary history, I am interested in evaluating the primary data of these datasets via comparative cladistics.
